So, I just picked one, which I liked because it is Meg Ryan who makes a lovely fool of herself, making you laugh..
You've Got Mail is made in 1998 by Nora Ephron. We can call the movie a romantic comedy so I wouldn't recommend it for the action-lovers, still there is always a beauty in Ephron's and Ryan's movies: they create a childish but feminine character, who's naivete you've got to love. And Ryan never realises how beautiful she is. I won't tell you the story 'cause you should watch it.
By the same director and with the same actress I recommend you Sleepless in Seattle, from 1993. Basically is the same type of movie, with a different story. In both movies Tom Hanks is the man to win her heart.
In '95 and '92 Ryan plays in French Kiss and Prelude to a Kiss. They both are nice movies, perfect for a Sunday afternoon with the girls . But the movie of 1989, When Harry Met Sally must have remained in our memory as "the orgasm". We must keep in mind the year, the century (:P) it was made in. And last but not least in 2001 she plays in Kate&Leopold , a movie which tends to be only romantic but achieves more thanks to the hystoric ideea. I must say that the soundtrack is worth listening if you think of Sting's Until.
